This planet is an M class planet in the Alpha Quadrant. It has a total of five moons; two of which are Derno and Jerado. Bajor is a warp capable humanoid race at war against there Cardassian oppressors, until the Federation assisted Bajor in 2369.
Bajor is one of the oldest civilizations within the Alpha Quadrant. It began to flourish with the first interstellar flight in the 16th century.
